Floods Hit 13 Streets in Jakarta After Heavy Downpours

"Based on temporary data, 13 streets are inundated due to heavy rain last night," Head of Informatic Section for Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Helma Dahlia, Thursday (4/21).
Dahlia mentions the streets that inundated are Jalan Muhidin, Dukuh Urban Village, East Jakarta. In the area, flood hit RT 12 and 13/RW 03 as high as 30-100 cm and RT 12/05 as high as 30-80 cm.
Flood Inundates Cilandak Timur ResidentialSimilar condition also hits some streets in Rambutan Urban Village. They are Jalan Depsos, RT 01/02 as high as 70 cm and Jalan SD Inpres as high as 70 cm, Polri Housing Complex, RT 08/05 as high as 25 cm. In Pasar Rebo area, flood hits Jalan Ujung Gedong, RT 04/10 as high as 30 cm, Jalan Dana Prasetya, RT 02/02 and Jalan Raya Tengah, RT 03/12 as high as 40 cm.
"Then in Tengah Urban Village, flood also hits RT 03, 06, 07, 08 and 11/RW 10 as well as RT 03, 05 and 07/RW 03 as high as 70-100 cm and on Jalan Condet Batu Ampar, RT 05/02 as high as 50 cm. In Central Jakarta, we also see the similar condition on Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim in front of Gondangdia Station as high as 15-20 cm," he disclosed.
